One of my favorite parts of life is the part where life simply happens.  I see a majestic plan in each day of our lives. Does that mean that every day is a Cinderella day? Well, yes…yes it is.  Some days you’re the princess and other days you’re the girl missing the shoe as my friend  would say.  Running too hard, fear of missing your carriage, you have to leave the wonderful moments of your life in a hurry because you’re behind.

The point is that I don’t know all the answers, but I am so very aware of the questions after a year of writing The 7 Minute Solution. After a lifetime of living the issues. Smart enough girl, difficult choices, often chosen in wrong order.  There are those who say you do better when you know better.  I think that is often true.   However, we get so very short sighted as to the possibilities. We hyper focus on systems that may not even work for us. ..until we are forced to change or learn or continue painful lessons until we are ready to. (or our health breaks, finances struggle, or life abruptly has to change)

We may believe our world is the ONLY world.  As one who spends a good amount of time in suburban and corporate settings I know there is a vast difference between my  life circumstance and those who live in New York City (you know the place that pic-ante is NOT from? teehee)  Life in Southern Arkansas for one of my staff was VERY different from where I live in North East Arkansas, yet our life is very different from my friend in India.  Perspective matters as much in location as it does in experience.  Where is your world?

This launch of The 7 Minute Solution is busy. It’s schedule after schedule and deadlines flying like they were ducks in Arkansas during hunting season (and I’m just about as accurate at not hitting them too) It’s not that I don’t feel they are important, or I don’t care about the schedules, but perhaps…no…wait for it…I tried to do too much…(surely not!) and like you, some days we just have to start over.  In my case, I know that grace will be needed, for it wasn’t very fun yesterday.  Another day that reminded me why I wrote the book, and why it matters to me personally. When our perspective of time available is clear, we make life easier on everyone.

The tools we made for you are not Cinderella style Bilbty Bobblety Boo fixers, but they indeed can bring almost magical clarity to most days.  Because we’re creatures of habit, every now and then you’ll have a day like I did yesterday, and get completely off track.  The best part?  Tomorrow you’ll begin again, and the truth is, sometimes you just do 7 minutes later THIS day. Why wait?!
